Pitquhirnikkut Ilihautiniq / Kitikmeot Heritage Society (PIKHS)

Ampere Agency and Pitquhirnikkut Ilihautiniq/Kitikmeot Heritage Society (PIKHS) worked together to create an online portal and Learning Management System to host content for people in Iqaluktuutiiaq (Cambridge Bay) and beyond. The implementation of the project began with the successful delivery of a mentor/apprentice program in Iqaluktuutiiaq, providing hands-on learning opportunities within the community. This initial phase laid the groundwork for future expansion, allowing the project to evolve and reach a wider audience through the online portal and Learning Management System.
